This is the second year of fringe theatrefest, North Devon's very own fringe theatre festival.
The plan this year was to produce 16 companies in 2 venues but the entries were so strong that we just had to find an extra venue. The Inn on the Square came to the rescue, enabling us to promote 22 companies presenting a grand total of 65 performances.
Some of the National and International companies are visiting the Festival as a prelude to the intensity of Edinburgh or the Canadian Fringe circuit.
Local companies have the opportunity to present something out of the ordinary within a well-resourced and supportive framework.
Audiences can take in a huge variety of work at extraordinarily reasonable prices - a bumper feast of theatrical fare.
