Ubuntu
Ubuntu is a performance of Southern African traditional music and dance, presented in authentic dress. After being introduced by the thundering rhythms of two drummers we are treated to a vibrant mix of dance and acapella singing. The group offer us a brief history both of U’Zambezi Performing Arts and the songs and dances they perform. Evoking the spirit of the mighty Zambezi River the performance is majestic; full of energy and power but there is also a light hearted feel and audience members are invited to participate in this mesmerising spectacle.
